Lucía Howell Vargas. (b. 1992, Costa Rica).
Multidisciplinary artist. Her experience with performing and visual arts, plus her interest in sound and space design have not only allowed her to develop projects using several techniques, but also have encouraged her to work under the interdisciplinary quality, combining study areas in the aesthetic experience to pose questions about perception of the objets, environment and people, working with the concept of ambiguity and its multiple possibilities. Her work has been displayed at individual as well as collective exhibitions at the Joven Creación (Young Creation) gallery of the French Alliance of San José, the Cultural Center of Spain, Subsuelo (by Veinti4/siete Galería) the Museum of Contemporary Art and Design of Costa Rica, and Miami Art Week. She works as an art director and visual artist in Costa Rica.
